Please understand that all the items in my store are 100% custom made to order and although we are thorough, there are inconsistencies based on the creative nature, so each item might look a little different from the next and have minor imperfections. Each board will be unique.
We strongly recommend treating your new board with beeswax, coconut or food-safe mineral /cutting oil . Just apply a light coat of the oil across the surface of your new board, let sit overnight.
To prevent wood from warping and cracking, please DO NOT submerge the wood product in water or expose to heat or sunshine . Prolonged submersion in water can open the natural fibers and cause splitting.
Hand wash with a damp cloth, and occasionally rub with beeswax or food-safe mineral/cutting oil . Repeat this process whenever the board looks dry.
Our cutting boards are made to order so each one has its own special look with unique waves and woodgrain patterns. That means no two items in our shop are the same which we think adds to their charm!
